I am looking for an entry level stage rally car for regional Rally America events.  I am willing to consider most any car but prefer something complete and with a logbook even if it's outdated.

Located in suburban Detroit but willing to travel for the right car.

Cash purchase but would also be willing to trade my 1991 Porsche C2 for the right setup - or newer waverunner or Chapparal speedboat.

Yes - and racing junk.com and rallyclassified.com as well as Craigslist.    
I just haven't seen anything that seemed like a good fit.

I'm surprised given that you live close to two major rally events. But keep looking. When starting, VWs are a good place. But since you live in the Detroit area maybe a Focus would be a good thing. Ford is now supporting both the Focus and the Fiesta in rally.

I have a beginners RallyX car for sale.  No log book though.  Just  a fresh build, with lower mileage motor.
